Report unusual behavior. Barricade your homes. Avoid all contact with infected individuals. Wait for official instructions.

For a game that came out in 2009, I still had trouble playing it. The last time I can actually remember playing this game was back in 2018 at my then boyfriends house. Funnily enough, Kait and I were playing together again. Her boyfriend and mine played before us, getting through the level with ease. Kait and I played as well then as we did this time. That should say something about the lack of skills we both have when it comes to Xbox games. Needless to say, we both got teased endlessly for the way we played through the level.

I can't remember if we played the same level back then that we did now. I want to say we did because towards the end of the level, I remembered the concert that we needed to set off for rescue. But, let's be honest, there was a lot that I did not remember about this game. Most importantly being the controls. I don't play Xbox very often, much less first person shooter games. They aren't my favorite since you have to use the two sticks both to move and direct the camera. I'm more of a comfy game player myself, but I'll shoot some zombies every now and then if needed.

The one thing about this level I was glad for was that we didn't have friendly fire turned on. If we did, Kait would have probably been down or dead way more than she was. I just can't aim when it comes to Xbox games apparently. We also purposely picked this game so that I could have melee since I got straight into panic mode without it. Being able to walk around and whack a zombie with a sword, chainsaw, axe, etc is so much more satisfying. Watching us play, you can tell that Kait and I have two very different styles of playing. At first I was more hesitant to play as I couldn't remember how the game went, Kait on the other hand was willing to just run into hordes of zombies. Oh, the hordes? Yeah, our friend didn't tell us he had the setting on that would just supply endless hordes throughout the level. Bitch.

As the level progressed, I realized that the level was easier than I first thought. Which made it easier for me to just run ahead without thinking about the potential consequences. Kait and I also decided to make it into a competition which one of us could be the better sniper. Surprise, it was Kait. I struggled to aim quickly and shoot while Kait could pick them off way before I saw them. We were trying to be smart and not startle as many witches as we could because they are a bitch to deal with. We managed maybe two levels without alerting one, the rest of them we got our asses handed to us by them. I'm just glad we only ran into a handful of tanks because they would send you flying when they smacked you. Out of all the 'special' zombies, jockeys and chargers seemed to favor our group. The NPCs killed more of them because Kait and I were normally the ones getting attacked by them.

I learned later that I wasn't great with a shotgun or a sniper rifle, but I was way more equipped to use a full auto gun. I preferred the Tommy gun over any of the others, much to Kait's dismay. This is when we were really thankful that friendly fire was not one because I was just spraying rather than trying to aim. So we more or less worked out a method to the madness that was the way Kait and I played. She would scout ahead and snipe before I came barreling in with the full auto and sprayed all to hell. That worked maybe 5% of the time because I was impatient and would rather run ahead of Kait, which meant she did shoot me occasionally. If you couldn't tell by watch the video, we also got lost easily even though everything was pretty straightforward. That was clear when we walked past a sign labeled 'safe house' like three or four times during one section. No one said you had to be smart to play this game.

The best part of the entire game was Kait and I trying to complete the concert all the way through. We tried to plan as much as we could, making sure everything was set up, and that we picked the perfect spots to shoot from. What we didn't anticipate was the sheer amount of zombies that were about to swarm us when we started the concert. That and we may have screwed ourselves by not moving around as well. This is when the tanks were probably the worst things to happen to us during this level because the one sent me flying when it hit me. We started actually losing the NPCs during this level, and I wasn't far behind them. That's when Kait decided that only one of us had to survive to win, so the bitch left me to die. We did technically win the level it just cost us three people.

As much as I love playing games by myself, it's always more fun to play with one of my siblings. Kait and I have always have a riot when playing games together because we're competitive and make the game harder than it needs to be. I hope to play and record more games in the future with Kait. It was just as much fun as it was playing Slender.
